Corporate Sponsorships
Corporate sponsorships are for individuals or organizations willing to fund the development of the Godot Engine and the Godot Foundation in a significant way.
Sponsorships directly support and help speed up the Godot development team's work on their priorities, and we want to highlight our biggest donors to let the community know who is financing the project.
When you sponsor, we add your logo and link on our websites (godotengine.org and fund.godotengine.org) and the name and link inside the Godot Engine editor, in the About section.
The Godot Foundation is also open to stay in touch and discuss any questions you might have regarding Godot Engine's roadmap and current activities such as early opportunities to sponsor events or other initiatives like the Asset Store.
The Godot Foundation uses charitable contributions on behalf of the Godot Project, in particular for:
- Hiring developers to work part-time or full-time on Godot Engine, and related projects.
- Hiring artists to create high quality demo artwork under a permissive license.
- Purchasing hardware required to develop Godot and other Foundation projects.
- Paying for hosting of some web services.
- Funding Godot Engine's presence in relevant industry events (e.g. GDC, Gamescom).
- Producing merchandise for events (T-shirts, banners, stickers, etc.).
✅ Sponsors can
- Make directed donations towards specific items in our priorities.
- Have regular status updates about certain projects or plans.
- Suggest the implementation of industry-wide open standards.
- Apply to participate with us in online or in-person events.
🚫 Sponsors cannot
- Request features or changes that aren't part of the priorities.
- Request to remove or block future or existing contributions.
- Misrepresent the relationship with the Godot Foundation.
- Represent the Godot Engine or the community.

While the preferred way of sponsoring is monetary, complimentary value such as hardware, infrastructure, or engineering time can also be considered to reach a specific tier as long as those resources contribute towards our goals outlined in the priority list.
